The EyeCane was developed to help blind and visually impaired navigate and orient in their enviroment.
The EyeCane gives feedback whether you have an obstacle in front of you and how close it is by vibrating.
The R&D initial process was constructed of field tests with blind and visually impaired users indoors and outdoors using prototypes.
Data from the experiments helped us understand the user needs and limitations, and we could finalize the design and bring the product to production.
