ICEP stands for Intelligent Connected Elevator Panel.
The ICEP elevator panel was developed while working as head of design and mechanical design at Escalade, a startup company.

Users & Technology
As the end point of a very smart system the ICEP packs a lot of technology.
The ICEP complies with both US and EU regulations.
The main user is of course the elevator passenger, but there is a secondary user, the elevator technician that has to have access to the back of the panel for installation and maintanance.
The Concept
This project had an intense R&D process finding the right technologies to manufacture a product in relative small quantities.
A special light guide film was developed to illuminate the buttons.
several technologies were needed to produce this product including CNC milling, laser etching, injection molding and special adhession.
