The Design Challenge
The design process focused on creating a pleasant, user-friendly shape that would be non-intimidating and approachable for users. At the same time, careful attention was given to minimizing both the size and weight of the product to enhance ease of handling. This balance between aesthetic appeal and practical functionality was key to ensuring a comfortable and accessible user experience.
Bionet Concept
A few solutions were developed to fullfill the product definition, one of them was a quick release which allowed to transfer the 3D Tutor from joint to joint during a telemedicine session.
I invested extra time and energy with together with the hardware engineer to define the right type and size of battery to allow small and light design.
