The Design
Inspired by the design of Micro's electric vehicle, the full-size Microlino, this toy mimics the iconic look and feel of its larger counterpart. It was carefully engineered to provide a fun, engaging, and memorable ride, allowing young users to enjoy a playful version of the innovative electric vehicle while promoting physical activity and creativity.
Early Concepts
Following the successful testing of a functional prototype and securing a patent for the invention, various design concepts were explored to enhance the product. These concepts revolved around diverse design themes, all aimed at implementing the core mechanical principle in innovative and engaging ways. The development process involved experimenting with multiple aesthetic and functional variations, ensuring that each design maintained the integrity of the mechanical system while offering fresh, creative approaches to the product’s final implementation.
The task given was to redesign the camera to be lighter and more user friendly while reducing cost and making the camera more accurate than the previouse model.
